"Investigative journalist Lena Fischer boards the Midnight Express — a luxury transcontinental train from Berlin to Istanbul — to meet a whistleblower who claims to have evidence of a massive European financial conspiracy. But when the whistleblower is found dead in his compartment before the first stop, Lena realizes she is trapped on a moving train with the killer.
